About Joe
from homeless to inspiring thousands
I grew up in Martin County, Kentucky, abandoned by my parents and raised by my grandparents, and by 17 I was homeless. What carried me through was a handful of adults who stepped in when others stepped away: my grandmother, teachers, a school coordinator, a pastor, and even a stranger at a church who saw a future for me when I couldn’t see one myself. Now I help schools and churches become that someone for the kids who need it most.
