After being born into poverty and even spending time as a homeless teenager, Joseph experienced firsthand how a consistent, supportive adult can change the direction of a life. Today, he speaks to educators, churches, and community organizations about the power of presence, trust, and showing up when it matters most. Joe’s message aims to refill the cup of those individuals who constantly pour themselves out while serving youth on a daily basis. Joe is the author of Me and Poverty: A Journey of Inspiration and Escape, host of a podcast focused on opportunities and resources for youth, and creator of mentor programming used in schools and other organizations to help young people break negative generational cycles.
